[ To be fair, it has been months since their wedding, and between paying for the wedding and the down payment on the house, they hadn't ever had much of a honeymoon planned. Certainly nothing as extravagant as David would have liked, Patrick knows.

This probably isn't like anything David might originally have had in mind, either, but to Patrick, it's perfect. His expression softens further, and he reaches a hand up to cradle the back of his husband's head. ]
